The deadline of the call for papers of the Research Network 37 (Urban Sociology) for the 12th European Sociological Association Conference has been postponed to the 15th of February.
The theme is Unequal lives in urban spaces.
The conference will be held in Prague in August 2015.

Next week I will be presenting my research on the soundscapes of the Mouraria and the LXnight project in the seminar series organized by the Observatori d’Antropologia del Conflicte Urbà. A great opportunity to meet friends, reengage with the interesting research done by former colleagues of the Universitat de Barcelona, and consolidate our international research network.
There are two conferences in the near future that might interest, among others, researchers in Urban Sociology/Anthropology/Geography. Jordi, João and myself are members of the organizing committee of the one held in Lisbon next month.
